Woodland ceremony
In our own acacia grove, since 2020. You and your guests under the cool canopy.
A ceremony site among the trees, with rows of chairs and furnishings.
The best choice in summer: the canopy gives shade all day.

The venue
The estate lies 35 kilometres from Budapest, just off the M5, across four hectares: our own acacia grove, the garden lake, the meadow in front of the gate and the manor house — four places where you can say yes.

Four ceremony sites
The ceremony is the most important moment of your big day. Where you hold it matters: it should be the one you dreamed of. Here you can choose from four ceremony sites — three under the open sky, one under cover — and each of them has a season when it is at its loveliest.

On the shore of the garden lake in front of the manor house, with the water and the roses behind you. At dusk the water reflects the light — photographers love this one most.
An open waterside spot, a few steps from the main building.
Loveliest in autumn: the water mirrors the rust of the trees.
On the open meadow in front of the arched gate, with the panorama of the estate behind you. Our newest ceremony site — nothing in the way, only the grass, the gate and the sky.
Open ground at the estate gate, with rows of chairs.
At its best in spring, when the grass is freshest.
If the weather has other plans, or if this is what you wanted all along. Rustic brick walls, antique furniture — the mood of the old landed gentry.
In the Great Hall of the manor house, in any weather.
The safe choice in winter: a heated space where the weather cannot interfere.
The spaces
The heart of the manor
100 guests
Rustic brick walls, antique furniture — the atmosphere of an old landed household. Not a function room and not a hangar: a house that is our own home.
Opens straight off the manor house
136 guests
Dinner, the dance floor and the drinks bar in one room. With the basic decoration and a ceiling strung with fairy lights.
In our own acacia grove
Since 2020
A stone wall, rows of chairs, and light filtering through the trees. Just you and your guests in the shaded grove.
In the middle of the grounds
The bank of the garden lake in front of the manor house. At dusk the water throws the light back — this is the spot photographers like best.
Our newest ceremony site
Since 2026
Open meadow in front of the estate's arched gate, with the open view behind. Nothing blocks the eye here: only the grass, the gate and the sky.
Where your guests are welcomed
A garden party on the manor house terrace: home-made pogácsa (Hungarian savoury scones), hand-stretched rétes (Hungarian strudel), cold lemonade. Your guests arrive, look around, and feel at home straight away.

Accommodation
The rooms are yours alone — only the people you want stay the night here. In four buildings you can put up 62 of your wedding party, so whoever stays sleeps where they celebrated, and in the morning you have breakfast together.

The Secret Spa
The newest part of the estate is the Secret Spa. Not a separate programme: it is for those who stay the night here — after the big day, or on a quiet winter weekend.
Venue hire
This is not an itemised price list: it is the base nobody has to order separately. Anything you would like on top of it we set out separately in the quote.

The story of the manor house
The land belonged to the family, and in 2015 every building on it went up by hand, on their own ground — originally to show what country life is like. The weddings came afterwards, and by now everything is arranged around them. We are not an events centre, not a restaurant and not a winery: we are a wedding venue. That is why nothing here feels like a hall — the manor house carries the world of the old landed gentry, with antique furniture, rustic brick walls and decorated columns.
The family built the manor house and the guesthouses around it from scratch, on their own land. We opened in May.
The woodland ceremony site was finished in our own acacia grove — most vows have been said there ever since.
Two years running, we were named wedding venue of the year at the Hungarian Wedding Award.
The Secret Spa was built and opened, home to a panoramic sauna, a steam room, a hot tub, a pool and a smaller room.

Getting here
The map comes from Google, so it only loads when you ask.
Open in Google Maps (opens in a new tab)Kökényes utca 4, 2366 Kakucs, Hungary
35 kilometres from Budapest, just off the M5 — between Inárcs and Újhartyán, on the edge of Kakucs.
Coming from Budapest, leave the motorway at Inárcs; from Kecskemét, at Újhartyán. It is 7 km from there, on tarmac the whole way.
In the main square of Kakucs you turn in front of the church — there is only one; from there our signs lead you. It is one kilometre on from the Kakucs Ring.
Do not take the forest track!
Some sat-navs send you down a forest dirt track. That road cannot be driven — several times a year we have to pull guests out of it. Always come in through the village of Kakucs: navigate to the Kökényes utca address above, and in the village follow our signs.
Free parking on the estate — your guests’ cars never end up on the road.
